Medicalfree is a service designed and implemented by Medicalchannel S.r.l..

Medicalchannel intends to offer high quality training courses free of charge on the Medicalfree platform, which may also contain sponsorships of various types in order to guarantee the functioning of the platform itself and free of charge for members.

The Medicalfree service is offered to all members of the association. These Terms of Use govern the use of our service.

Subscriptions

Access to Medicalfree is and will remain completely free for everyone. In order to use this service, members must have Internet access and a device compatible with Medicalfree (e.g. computer, tablet or mobile phone). To register, simply apply by entering your details in the form provided. Each subscriber will have to specify the specialty or specialties they cover.

To subscribe to the Medicalfree service, you must be at least 18 years old. Minors may only use the service under the supervision of an adult.

The Medicalfree service and any content viewed through the service are for personal, non-commercial use only.

The Medicalfree service and content library are updated regularly, new content will be notified, as far as possible, by email to all subscribers based on their specialty.

It is prohibited to store, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, publish, license, create derivative works from Medicalfree content. In particular, it is forbidden to use any still or moving image contained in Medicalfree without requesting extensive written permission from the author.

Quality

The quality of viewing Medicalfree content may vary depending on the device and several factors, such as geographic location, available bandwidth, or connection speed. Not all content is available in all formats. The minimum connection speed required for standard definition viewing is 1.0 Mbps; however, we recommend a faster connection for better video quality. All Internet access charges will be the responsibility of the Account Holder. Please check any data consumption charges with your Internet provider.

Password and account access.

The subscriber who created the Medicalfree "Account Holder" account is responsible for any activity that takes place through the Medicalfree account. To maintain control of the account and prevent fraudulent use, the Account Holder should not disclose his or her password to anyone. It will be your responsibility to update the information you provide regarding the account and ensure that it is accurate. We will have the authority to terminate or suspend the individual account in order to protect the Account Holder, Medicalfree or our partners from identity theft or other fraudulent activity.

Using audio-video footage (For the "Your Videos" section).

In the "Your videos" section it is possible to upload multimedia files (audio-video and .pptx) which will be processed by Medicalchannel technicians. Upon uploading, the user will be asked to accept the following terms:

By accepting the terms I am aware of authorizing Medicalchannel S.r.l. and their assignees to take back my image, my voice and my professional work (including presentations in the form of films, slides and digital presentations), and to disseminate them, even in partial form, by audiovisual means, including via the internet, without limitations of time and place. In any case, any use of the images that could cause damage to my honor or reputation is excluded. No image will be distributed, free of charge or for a fee, without my name and professionalism being highlighted. This authorization implies the granting of a non-exclusive license, including the rights referred to in Articles 12 et seq. of Law 633/1941.

I am also aware that I have read and understood the privacy policy on the site and therefore that pursuant to article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the personal data concerning me will be processed for the performance of the authorized activities described above and may always be communicated for the purpose of pursuing the purposes indicated. In relation to the data provided, I will be able to exercise the rights referred to in Article 15 and subsequent articles of Regulation (EU) 2016/679: confirmation of the existence of the data, origin, purpose, updating, cancellation, right to object. To exercise these rights you must contact the Data Controller of Personal Data which is Medicalchannel S.r.l. with headquarters in Via San Savino, 17/D in the municipality of Bologna.

Failure to provide consent totally precludes the continuation of the services.

It will be possible to request the deletion of uploaded contents at any time, for valid reasons (but not limited to: incorrect information, visibility of patient names, visibility of trademarks and brands as well as images covered by copyright, etc.). The validity of the request remains at the discretion of the site administrators.

Various

These Terms of Use are governed by Italian laws. These Terms do not limit any consumer protection rights you may have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

With respect to our service, in some cases, Customer Service may be better able to provide assistance by using a remote access support tool, through which we will have full access to your computer. If you do not wish to grant such access, please do not consent to assistance via the remote access tool; assistance will be provided by other means.

If one or more provisions of these Terms of Use are held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions, which will continue to be valid and effective.
